The Paraprofessional Section is offering a limited number of $50 scholarships to attend the 2011 NLA/NEMA Annual Conference – Nebraska Libraries: Cultivating Community Connections. The Conference will be held October 5-7, 2011 in Lincoln, NE. Click the following link for more information on the conference http://nebraskalibraries.org/conference2011/home. You must be a member of the Paraprofessional section to receive this scholarship. The scholarship recipients may be asked to submit a short article to the Para section's newsletter or, if able, volunteer time at the Para booth at the conference. If you are interested, please submit your name, address, email, phone, library affiliation, and reason for applying for the scholarship to Jennifer Wrampe, jennifer.wrampe@nebraska.gov. If you have already paid for your registration, you are still eligible for the scholarship. All applications must be received by September 9, 2011.
